Hi, I’m Linda Chiodo.
Let’s really unlock human potential and achieve the success we truly want by learning how to look at leadership through an evolved brain, and human element lens.
You could say that I have an addiction for continuous improvement or that I believe life is too short not to enjoy all of life’s experiences and successes on offer - including the work we do! But in my 30 years of management, leadership, learning and organisational development, I have seen leadership roles become less attractive as career pathways. Perhaps this is due to some of the ineffective, outdated practices that precede current times or that leadership competencies are changing faster than our development and competency frameworks can keep up with.
I am on a mission to help individuals, teams and organisations tweak the leadership habits that no longer serve them or work for the people they lead. I do this because I have been a part of corporate environments where development investments are wasted without the outcome of true behavioural shifts that drive performance, people and profit goals. I have seen how leaders, without intention, can have debilitating impacts on their workforce because they do not have up to date insights and understanding of how to tweak the way they go about leading themselves and others in their everyday operating methods.
We have seen new days, with new challenges and these require new approaches in leadership. Unleashing the definition of this for yourself and for others just might be the groundbreaking edge you’re after!
My Approach
You are the authority of yourself and your environment.
I like to understand what factors are at play for yourself and others in the process of achieving results and success. Understanding your individual, team or organisational goals form part of the discovery phase.
Time - isn’t this the new commodity! Latest reasearch in learning effectiveness in a nutshell and in my words is “less but more often.” With our brains all too often in overlode mode, our capacity to take in new information is limited. I work with leaders in an attempt to hit the sweet spot and honour the learning so it sticks.
With over 25 years in the HR, learning and facilitation fields, I seek to hold onto the best of the past and introduce the neuroscience of leadership insights of today. People are ready for development of this kind to ignite their people passion and drive for impacting performance potential.
With the melting pot that has become of our home lives and working lives, I am excited to help people think abut other ways of working and living, to take on what suits them to reach and enjoy the rewards that come with leading their own version of A BEAU LIFE!
